Loki is a fabulous pup out of BABI Ecko x John Holman’s Lee (2014 USBCHA National Cattledog Champion). A huge thanks to Mary Bolton for letting me have an Ecko puppy. Loki is a sweetheart with a steady temperament, excellent stock sense, a wonderful “never say die” attitude, incredible drive, and the highly valued on/off switch. He naturally bites heels correctly, has plenty of power for any job, and a go-get’m attitude. Whether at home, on livestock, in nursing homes, or out in public Loki is a wonderful representative of his breed.
Loki obtained his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) certification at 13 months making him the youngest Crawford to achieve those certifications. Loki trained with me in agility flat-work and sheepherding until he was injured in a fall at 20 months. After a year long recovery and another year slowly working back to full activity Loki has finally returned to stockdog training. He is continuing in K9 Nosework which he had begun while healing to keep his mind busy. He has passed his Birch Odor Recognition Test (ORT).
May 2015: High in Trial at Bolton’s AHBA Trial.
May 2016: 1 leg towards HTAD2-s and 1 leg towards HTDI-s. Finished his HTDI-g title and placed first twice.
